The Policy
Committee was disbanded in June 2017. The roles and
responsibilities of this Committee now fall within the Fire
Authority’s remit.
The Committee
comprised of 10 Members. The functions of the Committee included
the development and review of the Authority’s plans, policies
and strategies. The Committee also took
the leading role in respect of risk management (with the support of
the Risk Management Board).
NOTE: This
Committee was decommissioned at the meeting of the Fire Authority
on 14th February 2017.
